Romani Saccani Architetti Associati

Michele Romani and Mauro Saccani, both born in Milan in 1970, they studied at the ISA in Monza and in 1998 they graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. From 1999 they undertake the professional activity together and based in Arcore their Associated Firm where collaborating as freelancers with some Milan hinterland architectural firms.
Increasingly turned to the field of product design, today they cooperate with many lighting and furniture industries : each new concept stems from a conscious reading of the past and becomes an act of synthesis between imagination and substance, a challenge to the gravity of approvals and customs. The more the generator idea will be 'simple', the more successful will be the project: where 'simple', that does not mean dull, is a primary form of elegance and a rejection to the excess and vulgarity, a way to communicate the real meaning of things in an essential pure way.
In 2006, their Diadema lamps collection designed for Vistosi has been mentioned within the "ADI Design Index", preliminary selection to the XXI edition of the Compasso d'Oro and represents their first highest award.
Their products have been published in the most qualified architecture and design magazines such as Domus, Abitare, Interni King-size, Ottagono, CasAmica, RCas&Design-La Repubblica, Design Diffusion News, Bravacasa.
